Jump to Current Squad Leader
Becoming a squad leader means your entire squad will fight with you. They will follow where you go and fire where you fire. Any target you choose will become your squad's target as well.
One of the better combat strategies for destroying an enemy host station is to jump into a squad leader vehicle and direct your squad's line of fire against the enemy host station. Your on-field presence will literally increase the firing strength of your entire squad.
